Thank you for being Packet One Networks (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (P1)’s customer and one of the world’s pioneer WiMAX users.

P1’s commitment and goal is to provide our customers with the best broadband experience possible. In order to accomplish this, we have adopted the P1 WiMAX Fair Usage Policy and we closely monitor and manage our network constantly to ensure the best service quality is provided to all our customers.

A minority of customers consume so much data that they impact the online experience for other customers. Like other similar broadband services, P1 W1MAX is a shared broadband service, whereby the connection to the Internet is shared between multiple customers. This allows us to offer affordable broadband packages to our customers.

We noticed that for the current month your account has been consuming large amounts of data and have exceeded P1’s Fair Usage Policy per month. Among the possible reasons for the high bandwidth consumption by your account include the constant use of peer-to–peer (P2P) applications like Bit Torrent and other file sharing software, regular downloading and uploading of large files such as movies and videos, and frequent & repeated viewing of high resolution streaming videos and video on demand.

We seek your kind understanding and cooperation in managing the data usage of your account, as once the limit is exceeded, our bandwidth management policy will be automatically implemented and you may thereafter experience slower speeds until the end of the month especially during broadband usage peak hours. This action is required in order to safeguard the overall broadband experience for all our WiMAX customers.
